GIF, PSD and vector files aren't supported, and we don't retouch images. Elaborate display type and low-resolution scans come out weaker.
FAQ
Which image formats are supported?
PNG, JPG, WEBP, BMP and TIFF. The output keeps the input format. GIF, PSD and vector files aren't supported.
Will the resolution change after translation?
No. The original text is erased and the translation is redrawn in place, so the output keeps the original pixel dimensions and format — you can drop it straight in as a replacement.
How well does it handle display type and scans?
Ordinary body type, UI screenshots and packaging copy come out reliably. Elaborate display type with strokes or gradients, and scans below usable resolution, are recognised and redrawn less faithfully — compare the download against the original.
Can you retouch the image while you're at it?
No. This only recognises, erases and redraws text; the image content itself is left alone.
